1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SPACEODD ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Sign-up is available via email/password or Google. We use Supabase to handle authentication; their handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to claim the signup credit bonus repeatedly is prohibited and may result in suspension.

3. Credits and payments

SPACEODD runs on a prepaid credit system. Each AI operation (parsing a script, generating a storyboard panel, etc.) costs a fixed number of credits, shown on the relevant button before you commit.

4. Your content and ownership

You own everything you create on SPACEODD. Scripts you upload, storyboards you generate, treatments, pitch decks, moodboards, posters, character DNA, and any other module output - all of it belongs to you, subject only to the underlying model providers' terms described in §5.

To be specific:

One caveat worth knowing about: as of 2026, the U.S. Copyright Office holds that purely AI-generated images, by themselves, can't be registered for copyright. A creative work that uses AI-generated elements as one component (alongside human curation, arrangement, and editorial choice) may qualify for protection of the human-authored parts. Consult an attorney if copyright registration matters for your project.

5. AI model providers

SPACEODD doesn't train its own models. We proxy requests to several third-party AI providers, each with their own terms:

By using SPACEODD you agree to these providers' acceptable-use policies as they apply to your prompts and outputs. We pass through any provider-imposed restrictions; we don't add our own commercial licensing on top.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

Violations may result in immediate suspension and credit forfeiture, plus reporting to providers and authorities where applicable.

7. Service availability

We don't guarantee uptime. SPACEODD depends on third-party AI providers, payment processors, and cloud infrastructure that can each have outages. We aim for best-effort reliability and refund credits for clearly attributable service failures.

8. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. On deletion:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate §6 or that repeatedly trigger our automated abuse signals.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. SPACEODD's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 90 days, or USD $50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including lost projects, missed deadlines, or rejected pitches.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email and a notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you don't agree, you can delete your account and request a refund of unspent credits per §3.

11. Contact
